National Survey on LGBTQ Youth Mental Health

Client: The Trevor Project

Completed: 2019

We were honored to work with The Trevor Project to visualize the results of their first ever National Survey on LGBTQ Youth Mental Health. The survey asked about difficult topics including discrimination and suicide, but the interactive report was designed to be welcoming and accessible to an audience that includes the young people that The Trevor Project serves. As a result, we used a mobile-first design approach to ensure the layout would be compelling on different devices. This project was accompanied by a hard-copy paper publication of the results, which used the same visual language and many of the same graphs as the online version.
